Carbon Reduction Initiatives

As an eco-conscious organisation, we’re not just passionate about what we do, but also how we do it. Our mission to achieve net-zero emissions by 2040 is a concrete demonstration of this commitment. Our Carbon Reduction Initiatives take on a holistic approach encompassing energy efficiency, renewable energy use, carbon offsetting, and nature-based solutions like reforestation and habitat restoration.

Nature-Based Off-Setting Solutions

As part of our commitment to nature-based solutions, we have partnered with Earthly, a forward-thinking organisation specialising in carbon balancing. By restoring biodiversity and empowering local communities, we’re not just offsetting our emissions, but investing in a healthier planet. Our projects extend globally, from the protection of tropical forests in the Mai Ndombe region of the Democratic Republic of Congo, to tree sponsorship initiatives in Central Scotland. These projects not only contribute to our goal of net zero, but also actively promote biodiversity, sustainable livelihoods, and community resilience.

Certified Climate Positive

Through our initiatives, we are proud to have achieved Climate Positive certification. This significant milestone means that we are not only offsetting 100% of our carbon emissions but going beyond to actually remove additional carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. As a Climate Positive organisation, we’re driving the change towards a more sustainable future, by investing heavily in environmental projects that mitigate carbon emissions and support the regeneration of our natural ecosystems.
