Rob Tate Operations Director Maintenance
I first qualified as an electrical engineer with the MoD at Chatham Naval base, before going into the mobile telecoms industry. I joined, what is now EE when it was merely a start-up organisation, to develop the design, construction and ongoing maintenance of the new mobile phone networks. Following on from my engineering involvement at EE, I moved on to establish and develop their first corporate customer care team providing help desk support, technical advice, and a field based team managing large national and international customer relationships.
More recently I've led large, complex PFI/PPP deals delivering total FM services, including M&E, at the Army Foundation College in North Yorkshire and then as Operations Director across numerous UK-wide PFI contracts for Capita. My teams and my customers have always been at the heart of decision making, ensuring we maintain absolute focus on the customer service experience.
I'm married to Julie and we have two grown up lads, we're all long suffering supporters of Newcastle FC, proof that you can take the boy out of the North East, but you can’t take the North East out of the boy.
