It was a pleasure to host our DMA Group AGM recently. Colleagues from across our integrated service lines of Facilities & Maintenance, Engineering and Interiors & Joinery came together to collectively reflect and report upon last year’s performance, as well sharing our vision for 2019 and beyond.
This annual event is an invaluable forum for frank discussion as well as an opportunity to set clear direction and targets for the next period. There was lots to be excited about and to be very proud of: we doubled our turnover in Joinery; we’ve completed a variety of great engineering projects for clients such as Canada Life (a large MEP infrastructure upgrade) and The Scalpel (an large MEP fit out package); we secured a number of new facilities & maintenance customers, including for example London & Cambridge Properties who awarded us nearly 300 buildings to maintain across the Midlands and South. In addition, we have successfully completed very high-end fit outs for the Four Seasons hotel at Ten Trinity Square for Reignwood Investments UK, which was recently voted the best in London). The global co-working provider, WeWork, have trusted us to support a large number of fit outs at their new London locations and it was great to confirm that we have many more similar projects, and new customers, in our pipeline. Finally our continuing investments into technology and customer service will ensure we continue to materially differentiate ourselves.
