Safety Culture

Safety is an integral and embedded part of our DMA culture. Health & safety is first in everything we do: everyone – every task – every day. We believe that a strong safety culture is about top to bottom behaviour. Our people demonstrate strong behaviours because they all understand their responsibilities.

Objectives

To drive the right behaviours it is essential that our people know what we are aiming for:

  • Commitment to a zero accidents culture – driven by effective communication, tool box talks, near miss safety bulletins, safety observation reporting, recognition of good safety behaviour and awareness campaigns.
  • Our QHSE systems will remain accredited to ISO 9001, 14001, OHSAS 18001
  • Remaining accredited to: GasSafe, REFCOM, BESA, NICEIC and ECA.
  • Continually seeking to improve efficiency through technology
  • Working within a framework of ownership and responsibility
  • Complying with all relevant safety and environmental legislation and to support you in your legal compliance
  • Controlling environmental impact through management of water, energy, waste and prevention of pollution
  • To consult with you, our people and our supply chain partners to continuously reduce work related risks
  • Open and timely monitoring, measuring and reporting of our objectives, targets and performance
